January, beginning of a new year, the right time to set up plans and projects, but above all for me it´s my birthday month! I love January and it´s somewhat low key atmosphere, (at least in my experience) since most people are either on holidays or very tired after the holidays by this time. I´m also a low key person and this applies to my birthday celebrations too, and being far from home celebration options go in a different direction rather than the usual family and friends gathering. However a birthday is always an excuse to enjoy yourself and of course to wear something nice; for a fine evening for two I settled on a smart casual look, urban enough to wander about the outdoor entertainment on offer, and chic enough to step into a fine hub later. Sequins are no longer exclusive to formal attires, if you want to wear them casually and with ease, denim is the best match for day or day to night look featuring sequins

Enero – comienzo de un nuevo año, el tiempo justo para plantear projectos pero sobre todo en mi caso, el mes de mi cumpleaños! Sobra decir que me encanta enero aún así con su atmósfera un tanto reposada (al menos en mi experiencia) dado que muchos suelen estar de vacaciones o agotados por las festividades del año viejo. Yo también soy algo reposada y esto aplica para mis celebraciones, estando lejos las opciones para conmemorar mi cumple difieren de la usual reunión con familia y amigos. Sin embargo cumplir años es siempre una buena excusa para conmemorar en el mejor modo posible y por supuesto vestir algo lindo ( o lo que cada quien tenga por tal). Para una velada para dos me fuí por un look smart casual, suficientemente urbano para recorrer algunos festivales que por estos días alberga Sydney, y suficientemente chic para cenar mas tarde. Las lentejuelas ya no son exclusivas de atuendos formales y pueden ser llevadas durante el día de modo casual durante el día – el denim es el mejor complemento para este proposito,.
