Outfit - Serenity Pants

To dress from here, there, or anywhere, without boundaries and with a universal language.

Although for many modern times implies a more homogeneous scenario when it comes to fashion, others find in cultural references a way to enrich and distinguish their style. As for their roots certain garments own traits that identify them when they cross frontiers, just as flounces and dots bring up flamenco, a Kimono speaks for Japan and a mochila is synonymous with the Americas, this isn´t a limiting factor since as we´ve seen they can be easily incorporated into urban dress codes everywhere in the world with new interpretations and visual language.

Today´s outfit is a reflection of that…The pants – an exotic hindu find with interesting design and in serenity colour (one of Pantone picks for 2016) can be incorporated into various looks in different scenarios and situations such as part of a street chic option paired with heels and blazer, but in my particular case and with a summery need, I´ve combined it with an off the shoulder top enhanced with a hat, turning into a glamorous set that evokes Caribbean elegance, an aesthetic lately embraced by several designers around the globe and pointed as a trend, but above all a timeless theme. Vestir de aquí y de allá con un lenguaje universal

Aunque para algunos la modernidad supone un panorama cada vez mas homogéneo en materia de moda, otros encuentran en las referencias culturales un instrumento para enriquecer y distinguir su vestir. Según su alegoría ciertas prendas poseen rasgos que las identifican al cruzar fronteras, como cuando unos volantes y lunares evocan lo flamenco, un kimono nos habla de Japón y una mochila tejida es referente de tradición indígena americana, sin que estos factores limiten su versatilidad, ya que como se ha visto pueden ser incorporados a los códigos de vestir urbanos en diversos rincones del globo con nuevas interpretaciones y lenguaje visual.

El atuendo de hoy es un reflejo de ello….. El pantalón – un exótico hallazgo hindú de diseño interesante y poco convencional en color serenity (uno de los rigentes según Pantone en 2016) por si solo bien puede ser incorporado a looks en diferentes escenarios y situaciones, como street chic por ejemplo si lo asociamos con un blazer y tacones; pero en mi caso particular y con un menester mas veraniego al ser combinado con el top de hombros descubiertos y con un sombrero como acento se torna en una glamurosa opción que evoca la elegancia Caribe, – esquema estético del cual se ocupan muchos diseñadores y que cobra protagonismo como tendencia, pero además una temática atemporal.
