Outfit Post – The “Boho – Hippie” Look

Muchos hablan del estilo boho – para hacer referencia a la estética bohemia ….de repente se oye hablar del “boho chic, boho hippie, boho retro ..que esto, que lo otro – pero… le atribuímos de manera correcta dicha calidad a lo que realmente es? bohemio se relaciona con significados que distan de  dicha estética…bohemio es todo menos calculado;   libre, vagabundo, errante y desordenado – por mencionar algunos, serían adecuados adjetivos para ponernos en los zapatos de un verdadero bohemio,  pero lo cierto es que culturalmente también se le conoce así a los poetas, músicos de ciertas corrientes, pintores entre otros que ya sea por su estilo de vida y personalidad aparecen menos anclados a convencionalismos.  Sin embargo,  para lo que concierne a los amantes de la moda,  en el concepto  ” Boho” muchos estilos tienen cabida, siempre que respondan a una actitud desenfadada, libre de espíritu,  joven y un tanto desprolija (aunque sea a propósito y con indumentaria de la mas alta gama como muchos famosos lo hacen, aunque a los verdaderos bohemios poco les importen las marcas).

Most people talk about  boho style as a reference to Bohemian aesthetic …  suddenly we hear talking about   “boho chic, hippie boho, boho retro…this or that – but … do we  properly give such quality to what it really is? Bohemian relates to meanings far from the aesthetic now days we hardly try to achieve … Bohemian is everything but calculated;   free, vagabond, wandering and disordered to just  name a few, would be suitable to put ourselves on a  real Bohemian´s shoes, but the truth is culturally “bohemian” also is referred as well to the poets, certain currents musicians, painters and other type of artists  who either by their lifestyle or personality appear less attached to conventions. However, for what concerns to fashion lovers  the concept of  “Boho ” welcomes many styles, as long as they meet to  careles attitude, freedom and Young spirit and somewhat cluttered posture (at least on purpose and  high-end clothing like many celebrities do, although real bohemians wouldn´t care at all about brands).   

Referentes del hipismo y el rock principalmente han servido para identificar esta corriente estética en nuestros días…lo que coincidencialmente vino a mi mente al ponerme esta falda larga, ya que  casi siempre que llevo una – no puedo evitar pensar en que una luce un tanto hippie con ellas, así que por que no jugar un poco con el estilismo ..manillas hippies…una trencilla o cintilla en el cabello…un chaleco denim con inspiración militar – a los hippies les gustaba hacer mofa de la milicia y curiosamente  vestían prendas de alegoría castrense, solo que reemplazaban las insignias y medallas por mensajes hacia la paz y el amor libre…

References from hippie  and rock style have mainly served to identify current  bohemian aesthetics … which by coincidence came to my mind when I wore  this long skirt, everytime I wear a long skirt, I can´t  help  but thinking that one looks a bit  hippie with them, so why not play a bit with the styling…hippy handcuffs … a braid or tiny band on the  hair … a military-inspired denim vest – some hippies curiously  would wear military clothes, replacing the badges and medals by  peace and free love messages.

Yo no puedo evitar encontrar un gato en mi camino e interactuar con el, este no es el mas lindo que haya visto pero se comportó muy amistoso aunque se notaba que había peleado la noche anterior.. le faltaba pelo y tenía algunos rasguños…. afortunadamente me enteré que tiene un hogar y no pasa mayor trabajo..solo es un gato bohemio.

I can´t help interacting with a cat whenever I see one on my way, this is not the cutest one I´ve ever seen, but he was really friendly and playful, although I could tell he had a fight the night before, he was lacking hair and also had some visible scratches, fortunately I found out he had a home ..he is just a bohemian cat…

Hoy no hay detalles del atuendo en cuanto a marcas….eso sería todo menos bohemio o hippie
