AAFW Highlights – Rebecca Vallance Resort 21/22

Rebecca Vallance’s 10th  Anniversary Runway was one anticipated show, to say the least. Her Holliday collection was an ode to the 80’s glam with a rock-chic edge. Vallance array was fierce and sophisticated – plunging necklines, sequins, and feathers embodied a fierce woman while other garments featuring melon sleeves, bows, and tulle polka dot encapsulated the good girl vibe.

We saw the flashbacks of that decade materialized in velvet and lame body-hugging numbers, power shoulders, and feather hems yet keeping things tasteful by subscribing predominantly to a monochrome palette aside from the glitzy metallic textures.

As is Rebecca Vallance’s tradition, the body-conscious approach is always a plus, delivering stylish silhouettes in addition to a good dose of trend proposals for the season such as one shoulder tops, velvets, polka dots, feathers, and bow detailing.

Below, a few of her most eye-catchy looks on the runway.. enjoy!
