We can think of a weekend road trip as one of lifes simple little pleasures, but finding a heavenly retreat, make a stop and contemplate a pleasurable view while enjoying a delicious meal means we have a memorable experience at our disposal, just like a getaway to The Potager, a restaurant located in the picturesque Mount Tomah Botanic Gardens. The Potager is a new destination for those who want to connect with nature, indulge in breathtaking views, a peaceful atmosphere and a very delicious menu, with locally sourced ingredients and of course excellent hospitality.
Named from the French word for vegetable garden –The Potager is a must see – mustvisit destination for those in discovery mode, or those looking for a much needed escape away from the daily urban grind. But this – one of a kind – location isn’t just about views, its hospitality, service and quality servings do make you feel special!
What I loved about this gem? Well, apart from being rewarded with a majestic view of the Blue Mountains, the welcoming atmosphere and the renovating calm only the sounds of nature and pure air can provide promise to be a harmonious therapy.
The food is indeed one of its strong points, its short but satisfying menu offers chef selected options to make you come back for more, it was some of the best prepared main course meals ive had, I still remember my deliciously cooked Grilled Barramundi while hubby was equally satisfied with the Mediterranean Chicken…
The Potager opens for breakfast and lunch from Wednesday to Sunday and between 9.00 AM to 4.30 Pm
