Stripes never go out of style

With its frequent comebacks to the trend zone it could be said stripes never go out of style, since every now and then whether they are navy, convict, parisian, gangster and even pyjama styles as seen of late, dominate the street style scene, just as they did at MBFWA, where many of the attendants showed off their striped outfits

How to wear stripes? The advantage of stripes (the vertically oriented type) is more than justified, they make us look taller and slender and currently there are no limits, apart from self convenience. They can be mixed with different patterns or just as a total look. Here I share some close ups from my street style images taken at Fashion week Australia just in case you´re looking for some trend inspo!

Con su frecuente presencia en el territorio de tendencias no hay menester en señalar que las rayas están de moda, desde que cada tanto ya sean en estilo naviero, prisionero, parisinas, gangster e inclusive las estilo ropa de cama, como las vemos últimamente, se roban la escena de street style, incluso la de MBFWA, en donde muchas de las asistentes se dejaron ver en atuendos con el vistoso estampado, esta vez en sentido vertical.

Como usar estampado de rayas? La que la ventaja de las rayas verticales es mas que justificada – nos hacen ver mas altas y delgadas; en la actualidad no hay una regla que limite su uso mas que la propia conveniencia. Se llevan combinadas con otros estampados y hasta en look completo. And the horizontals stripes? Still trending, if you´re slim try with thin stripes in botton pieces. Although thick stripes are a nockout when it comes to flare skirts as shown in the photo below

Y las horizontales? Son ideales para figuras muy delgadas, prueba con rayas delgadas en las piezas inferiores. Las faldas amplias admiten rayas mas gruesas para un look dramático y de impacto.
