Lancôme Skin Care Favourites Worth the Investment
As you might have noticed via my Instagram account I’m part of Lancôme’s Beauty Crew which makes me lucky enough to try and enjoy some of their best beauty and makeup products with a positive experience. So in case, you wonder whether you should try them or not, I’ll share with you a bit of insight from my recent skincare updates.
Lancôme Clarifique Dual Essence
The claim – “Powered by French Beech Bud extracts to deliver smoother and more radiant skin in just 4 weeks. When Clarifique skin brightening essence is applied to the skin, it boosts natural skin enzymes for ultimate skin clarity: In the skin, epidermal enzymes regulate 4 biological functions involved in skin clarity and skin texture:
– Multiplication: Enzymes boost skin cells multiplication and therefore help skin renewal
– Hydration: Enzymes are involved in moisturizing factors and therefore keep skin healthy plump.
– Desquamation: Enzymes boost skin cell elimination and therefore refines the skin surface and tighten skin.
– Pigmentation. Enzymes regulate melanin production, brighten skin for an even tone.
At a glimpse, I wasn’t sure about the nature of this product, while it might look like a toner it’s actually an “Essence” which have similar benefits to serum, with a concentrated formula but a lower molecular weight than most daily creams They work to penetrate the skin much deeper than your average moisturizer.
This is probably the reason why it works wonders, according to the claim one can see results in four weeks, but I started to notice smoother and clearer skin after three days, now I know every skin is different and results will vary from one type of skin to another, but safe to say that with its concentrated lightweight formula, the goodness of this product works at a deep level.
Now my one piece of advice, be careful when you apply it, unlike micellar waters and tonics you wouldn’t want to leave half of this product in cotton pads, so shake the bottle, get a few drops with your fingertips, and gently tap onto your skin.
Lancôme Advanced Génifique Yeux
The claim ” Eye contour skin recovers +70%** faster for smoother, firmer, more radiant and visibly younger-looking eyes. This potent anti-aging eye cream reduces the appearance of dark circles, fine lines and wrinkles”
I’m pretty sure you can count with your fingers the times I’ve recommended an eye cream product, and with that I mean it has to be great! Lancôme Advanced Génifique Yeux goes at the top of my list providing intense hydration to the delicate under-eye area reducing dark circles thanks to its prebiotic and probiotic formula; it also contains Hyaluronic Acid which can hold up to 1000 times its weight in water and maintain precious moisture in skin and Vitamin CG – a stable form of vitamin C known for its properties to improve skin tone and skin quality.
My thoughts- I can honestly say I haven’t worried about puffy eyes in the morning since I’m using, it feels really creamy and nourishing yet fast-absorbing and suitable for sensitive skin – bye-bye baggy eyes and hello to revitalized and firmer skin!

This essential needs no introduction – An old-time favorite and a must during the colder months – Advanced Genifique infused with probiotics fractions, strengthens and promotes healthy-looking skin. I tend to experience redness and sensitivity with the dry weather conditions so I love Genefique’s calming and toning effect aside from other benefits such as skin elasticity, radiance, even skin tone, and fine lines reduction – it is indeed a recovery elixir!
