Charles and Keith - A Stylish brand that won't break the bank

Truth be told, most of us are obsessed with high price tags when it comes to handbags, the more expensive a bag the more confidence it gives you – some say; it’s easy to see why some are even called investment or status bags. However, great style isn’t about status, but an attitude – and certain aesthetic obviously. If you’re after the flawless and clean cut style most high end brands boast, but are confident enough to ditch the price tag, here is a stylish and cool brand I’d like to share with you….

You might have spotted a new trend in style, – simple yet architectural accessories that aren’t a show off but rather and interesting touch. Charles and keith is one such label with strikingly stylish items that can totally elevate your outfits – at a first glance they look and feel expensive if you ask, thanks to their simple and sleek shapes.

Below are a few of my pics from Charles and Keith latest collection and the reason why I think they’re a clever wardrobe addition.

Set 1 – Croc effect handbag and patent leather kitten shoes

This combo looks chic and dressy yet effortless, you can easily add these shoes and purse to a dress or to a pair of jeans and shirts, and they’ll work great. The kitten style shoe is a winner when it comes to chicness and comfort, – literally a 9 to 5 shoe and beyond. while the round bag with chunky chain is a stand out without trying hard. Since the geometric styles are a very current trend I though this model had the perfect balance between elegance and edginess.

Set 2. Croc effect structure bag and Slinkback pumps

Timeless elegance and a contemporary feel -being croc skin finish a very appealing trend this season, I thought this bag was a refreshing style update. Plus a nice structured silhouette and perfect size to carry my daily essentials, perfect for work or a date night. I chose the burgundy color but this model also comes in black, beige and yellow.As for the slingback pumps, with a few more centimetres than the kitten style above, turn out quite comfortable and dressy in matching color for a stand out touch!
