Polka Dots

In a city environment fast life imposes some conditions on our clothing, versatil and easy to wear are key but sometimes this leaves us unsatisfied when it comes to our real dress aims. I dare to say many of you would like to wear a flare skirts with an offshoulders tosp and any other romantic attire that emphasises our femeninty from time to time, but due to random circumstances this is not always possible. Whenever we have the chance and the occasion allows we please ourselves with that dreamy outfit we´ve been planning on using for months, it´s much like this skirts story, whose fabric was gathering dust before it was turned into a proper piece. With polka dots making a comeback, along with my dressmakers help it became a gorgeous flare skirt with radiant orchid dots and I paired it with a off shoulder top in my favourite color – purple. Although in Sydney we´re officially in autumn the weather tends to be variable and there are days where temperature allows to fake spring or summer with a colorful and flirty ensemble.

Tip Trend: Polka Dots are key  this season, so if you´re a fan of prints, you´ll look very “now” including dots in your look.

En un ambiente citadino la vida agitada nos impone una indumentaria practica, que aunque versátil, no siempre satisface a plenitud y a veces cercena nuestros gustos en el vestir; me atrevo a decir que a muchas se les antoja llevar faldas amplias y vaporosas, blusas de hombros descubiertos y coquetas, o cualquier otro vestuario que recalque nuestra feminidad, pero no siempre resulta lo mas conveniente; sin embargo siempre que la ocasión permita podemos concedernos ese atuendo soñador que hemos planeado incluso por meses. Tal es la historia de esta falda, cuya tela duró casi dos años empaquetada, antes de convertirse en en ropa,  pero que con el furor de los Polka Dots, y la ayuda de mi modista cobró vida como una hermosa falda de puntos en orquídea radiante que combiné con un top en otro de mis tonos favoritos – el violeta. Aunque en Sydney estamos oficialmente en Otoño, el clima es variable y hay días en que la cálida temperatura permite revivir atuendo la primavera o verano con un ensamble coqueto y colorido.

Tip trend: Los polka dots están imperantes por estos días, así que si eres amante de los estampados, lucirás muy actual incluyendo los puntos en tu look. Igualmente las blusas de hombros descubiertos y campesinas son un must en esta temporada.
