Wandering the old city
Once more an outfit post from Cartagena a city which by its waters, its charming colonial architecture and its history conquers more tourists from different corners of the world. I’m lucky enough to be only an hour away by car whenever there is a special occassion, it´s also an excuse to photograph my outfit posts with its beautiful backstreets as a background, achieving the perfect setting for a tropical look. What I´m wearing can be seen here or in Europe…
Timeless Lace
Until recently a see through lace skirt could be somewhat revealing but as we have seen lately transparent items can be carried during the day with urban flair; with the current trends its common to see them in completely translucent and light lace fabrics, the secret is not to fall in excesses and complement them with appropriate pieces. Sharon Wauchob Spring 2015 – Paris Fashion Week
One interesting aspect about international runways is the opportunity to see relatively new faces of design, who are changing the course of global fashion while staying true to their vision. One such designer is Sharon Wauchob; for those who still haven´t heard of her since 2003 the Irish designer has been presenting her collections at Paris Fashion Week and counts an outstanding performance from 1997 to 2001 as in house designer for Louis Vuitton. The brand specializes in alternative fashion…
Paris Fashion Week – Anne Sofie Madsen
At Paris Fashion Week scenarios are as varied as their actors, so its no surprise that some runways took place at embassies, and at the the Danish one I had the pleasure of seeing the first show in Paris by designer Anne Sofie Madsen, a graduate from the Royal Danish Academy and who was an apprentice to Galliano for Dior and worked as Junior designer for Alexander McQueen. With this impressive resume she made her debut for the first time at…
