Lady in Red

Although by now many of you probably have an idea of what would be your ideal color for the holidays and particularly New Years eve, it is never too late to consider the energies we can project with the right use of color; red might be a bit too much for many but for this reason and others it could end up being a good choice to call in the good vibes when clock strikes 12.  Red is associated with vitality, passion and strength, it expresses sensuality, energy, and motivates action, if you can relate to all these then Red is definitely your color. Of course you have to consider the hours and environments where red may not be so conveniant such as the office, or early in the morning in hot weather, and there are studies which state red can have a physical and emotional effect on people, increasing blood preasure and breathing rhythm …(literally dressed to kill)

Red is also used to fight depression because it provides optimism  and confidence and along with green it symbolizes the joy and spirit of christmas… so I wanted to share this fabulous ELA jumpsuit that merges the qualities of pants and a dress all in one in an impressive red tone. I wore this last week, but just now it gets its deserved debut on the blog.  As Marilyn Monroe would say… “your clothes should be tight enough to show you´re a woman and loose enough to show you´re a lady”, and that precisely is what I love about this jumpsuit – it defines the silhouette but it is not totally bodycon, – so the result is sexy but not obvious, apart from being  very flattering for hourglass and pear type bodies.

Aunque a estas alturas quizá ya muchas tengan en mente que color llevar en estas fiestas y en especial la noche de año nuevo, no está de mas considerar las energías que podemos transmitir con el uso del color; puede que el rojo sea un color algo muy llamativo para algunas pero por esa y otras razones puede ser una buena elección para llamar las energías cuando el reloj marque las 12; el rojo se asocia con la vitalidad,  la pasión y la fuerza. Es un color fundamental, que expresa la sensualidad, la energía y que motiva a la acción…si te identificas con ello el rojo es definitivamente tu color.  Eso si, debes cuidar las horas y los escenarios donde no es muy recomendado como el ambiente laboral y en climas cálidos a tempranas horas del día…ya que muchos estudios afirman que el rojo tiene un significado tal que puede llegar a afectar de forma física, aumentando la presión arterial y el ritmo respiratorio, …(vestidas para matar literalmente…!)

Se usa el color rojo cuando no se quiere caer en depresiones porque sugiere y aporta optimismo y confianza en uno mismo. En combinación con el color verde, el rojo simboliza la navidad y la laegría de estas fiestas, por lo que quiero compartirles este lindo enterizo rojo en ELA, que conjuga lo practico de un pantalón y el donaire de un vestido en un impresionante color rojo; lo lucí la semana pasada durante el debut en pasarela de una amiga, pero solo hasta hoy el tiene su debut en el blog; como diría Marilyn Monroe – “Tu ropa debe ser lo suficientemente justa como para demostrar que eres mujer y tambien lo suficientemente amplia para demostrar que eres una dama”… y eso precisamente es lo que mas me gusta del diseño de este jumpsuit, ya que aunque define la silueta no es totalmente justo en la parte baja, para  lucir sexy y no obvia, además de ser muy favorecedor para personas con cuerpo de pera y reloj de arena…
