How to style a pocho – Round Two

Sometimes it´s needless to justify the way we dress with pretentious arguments, after all an image is worth a thousand words, and when it comes to an outfit there is no rocket science behind what makes it a hit or a failure: color, harmony, respect for silhouettes and cohesion are to name a few key notes if we want to look our best (or just looking good). With Ponchos the task seems a piece of cake but there are some skills required to maneuver yourself gracefully instead of looking wrapped up in a blanket. It´s a question of trial and error until one masters technique, by fortune I found that when required, ponchos combine perfectly well with cocktail dresses, keeping things basic and as simple as possible to ensure your look is neat and fluid, unicolor and lightweight just as this model is conveniently grey to play with a monochromatic theme.

A veces, poner argumentos rebuscados a la vestimenta resulta fuera de lugar porque después de todo una imagen vale mas que mil palabras, cuando se trata de un atuendo no hay mucha ciencia detrás de lo que lo hace hit o un desacierto: color, armonía, respeto por la figura y pertinencia de prendas por nombrar algunos, son claves cuando queremos lucir al máximo ( o como poco vernos bien). Cuando se trata de un poncho el asunto parece fácil – pero créanme, se requiere destreza para manejarse con gracia y no parecer envuelta en una sabana, una cuestión de ensayo y error hasta dominar la técnica; por fortuna encontramos algunas prendas que se complementan de maravilla con otras, y en este caso rebuscando en el closet encontré que el poncho también puede acompañar vestidos de cóctel – eso si, básico y sencillo en lo posible así como unicolor y ligero en volumen, como este modelo convenientemente gris para jugar con el tema monocromático.
