Baroque Inspiration – Delusions of grandeur

During 2012 evident was the use of extravagant trends, either by the stridency of the colorful as for color blocking, the maximalism with charged clothing in score or studds, and the more austere as with the leather look; all seem to indicate that 2013 and the rest of this year is not going to look more tenuous. Instead, get rid of “less is more” for a few months … because what the following year holds is a styling even more charged – the Baroque trend and with it the  opulent traits of an bygone era. Being faithful to this aesthetic, the exuberance in details such as embroidery, plush appliqués to heavy brocade,  lace and other inlays on sumptuous and voluminous texture constitute a reference characteristic of one that revives the romanticism of the 17TH century

En lo corrido de 2012, fué evidente el imperio de tendencias extravagantes, ya sea por la estridencia del colorido como lo fué el color blocking,  el maximalismo con la indumentaria recargada en taches o studds, y la mas austera por así decirlo el look en cuero;  todo parace indicar que el 2013 y al menos  lo que queda de este año no va a lucir mas tenue…por el contrario, guardemos aquello de “menos es mas ” por unos meses… lo que  depara el siguiente año es un estilismo aún mas recargado  –  la  tendencia barroca y con ella los rasgos de opulencia característicos  de una epoca.  Siendo fieles a esta estética la exuberancia en detalles como bordados, recamados, encajes y demás incrustaciones  sobre texturas suntuosas y voluminosas, se constituyen en un referente característico que reviven el romanticismo del siglo XVII.

Although the Baroque refers to the surcharge and exuberance of forms and ornaments, this should be taken into account according to our physique. If you’re a curvaceous girl and not very tall, it is best to opt for dresses whose details are located at the edges, avoiding the volume. The same applies to accessories such as necklaces and earrings, choose the smallest.

Si bien el barroco hace referencia al recargo y exuberancia de formas y ornamentos, esto debe ser tenido en cuenta de acuerdo a nuestra complexión física. Si eres una chica curvilinea y no muy alta, lo mejor es optar por los vestidos cuyos detalles estén ubicados a los bordes, evitar el volumen.  Lo mismo aplica para los accesorios como gargantillas y pendientes, elige los mas pequeños.
