Best Runway Looks from MBFWA Resort 20

Fashion week might be done and dusted but we love reminiscing the great looks seen on the runway this year! With a focus on sustainability and ethical practices MBFWA gave us a full insight into what’s trending for the upcoming resort season, from neutrals to bright colors to bold prints there is a rainbow of inspiration for every taste. here a few of our favorite shows!

TigerLily

A much expected return to the runway, Tigerlily a swim, occasion and resortwear brand offered a complete holiday wardrobe for the adventure-seeker – The collection was highlighted by timeless and effortless silhouettes,  simple yet seductive detailing and a dichotomy of neutral and bright colors.

We Are Kindred

No one does boho like We are Kindred, The sister’s duo is known for their use of feminine prints, and whimsical appeal; this collection was true to that but we saw a sexy edge, with alluring plunging necklines, use of sheer and billowing fabrics…

Mariam Seddiq

With a radical twist Seddiq gave us strong rock chic vibes, in a monochromatic palette and glitzy textures. We loved the 80’s and punk revival encapsulated in dramatic shoulders, lame fabrics and strong use of leather and vinyl in sync with seductive silhouettes.

Karla Spetic

A whimsical vision, Spetic’s Syren collection evokes the muses from the ocean, in an ethereal array of looks featuring organza and linen fabrics. Once again her distinctive use of cut outs and see-through textures was in sync with delicate lace up detailing, predominant use of raw tones and a fresh dash of pink and pastels.

Leo & Lin

One outstanding collection seen at MBFWA was undoubtedly Leo & Lin’s, delivering an enchanting collection highlighted by strong and feminine silhouettes, alluring prints and interesting association of garments, pattern trim, intricate lace detailing, rich fabrication and use of color in an elegant, strong and romantic fashion.
