A dose of green – Wrap dress look

Style might be a question of individuality but often our desires in this matter have to do with momentum and flow, in other words – trends. What was once considered demodé can be relevant tomorrow, even if it wasn’t quite so appealing to everyone. Fortunately color is an easy way to update our look and play it safe with trends and no drama (one could say). But what happens when color is precisely a matter of consideration? While in 2016 Rose Quartz and Serenity were seemingly to everyone’s delight, in 2017 “Greenery” might not get everyone excited.

Whether by our skin tone or simply taste, green isn’t the first choice for many, but let’s take into account that green is nature’s neutral color, and contrary to what most might think we can achieve harmonious combinations with it, just have a look at nature and its patterns or simply check the Chromatic Circle here.

It’s been a while since I last wore green, so considering it was about time to get out of my comfort zone with pastels, I decided to try a dose of this color. I admit that more so than the trend, it was the style what motivated my choice for this look. Wrap dresses are quite flattering and easy to wear, if you’ve seen my Instagram lately you’ll notice I’m hooked with the style Diane Von Furstenberg made popular in the 70’s. Back to the color topic, this shade of green might be somewhat serious (if you know what I mean) but with the pop of red and complemented with sassy heels turns out romantic and vivacious – Hope you like it, also you can find a link at the end of the post where to find this dress and other similar styles!
