Fashion Week Style - Stripes Supremacy

More than dressing us, according to the day and weather conditions, our clothes are an investiture, with different purposes from one person to another, while some aim to stand out others simply want to blend in.

Some are lovers of notorious style by nature, while others who are shy avoid announcing themselves visually going for something more understated. The concept of what’s good taste and style will be as diverse as every observer’s judgement. At fashion week many people question whether the attendees outfits respond to their true style or rather glorified street style disguises. To this I respond style is diverse, what appears complex and conspicuous for some can be carried with ease by others, we can’t judge according to our preferences and in the fashion world you’ll end up embracing what you once rejected.

Those who land on this blog from time to time may notice I have no problems with colours and prints – so when I came across this striped set, more for personal joy and convenience rather than considering the trend, I though it would be an eye catching but stylish attire to attend Fashion Week. Vertical stripes favours our silhouette as they make us look taller, but I recommend if you have a curvy or voluptuous figure avoid the skinny and tight ones and choose the flare and straight shaped, so the print doesn’t get distorted

Mas allá de vestirnos según la conveniencia del día o del clima, nuestras ropas suponen una investidura, con diferentes aspiraciones y asociaciones dependiendo de cada quien…mientras algunas pretenden sobresalir, otras simplemente buscan encajar.

Algunas personas son amantes de lo notorio por naturaleza, mientras que otras mas tímidas evitan anunciarse visualmente prefiriendo lo discreto. Las concepciones sobre buen gusto y estilo serán tan variadas como el juicio de quien observe. En una semana de la moda muchos cuestionan si los looks de los asistentes responden a su estilo o en cambio como algunos aseguran son disfraces glorificados del street style, a lo que yo responderé que el estilo es diverso, lo que resulta complejo o conspicuo para unos puede ser llevado con naturalidad por otros, no se puede juzgar conforme a nuestros gustos y en el territorio de la moda puedes terminar asumiendo lo que alguna vez rechazaste.

Quienes han visitado este blog con anterioridad notaran que no tengo agüeros con el color y estampados – por ello al toparme con este set de rayas, mas por gusto propio y conveniencia que en atención a la tendencia, pensé que seria un llamativo pero estilizado atuendo para asistir a la semana de la moda en Sydney. Las rayas verticales juegan a nuestro favor logrando una silueta mas elongada, pero recomiendo evitar los pantalones justos si eres curvilínea, en este caso elige los de corte recto y amplio para evitar distorsión de las lineas.
